A Fowler First

At the last minute, we decided to take ALL THREE KIDS to see the Gamecocks play.
For the first time.  We surprised them when we woke them.
So exciting!

We tried to tailgate well, for their first.

I have such sweet memories of tailgating in the fairgrounds.  I hope they feel the same way.

We ended up buying tickets straight from the ticket office.  We got box seats!
It's a good thing we didn't pay that ticket scalper $500 for his nose-bleed seats.

A selfie.

One boy and his happy mama.

A pretty girl. With a pretty new hair-do.

Enthralled.

Borrowing Daddy's hat.

Once we were up by several touchdowns, the seats cleared out a bit and we got some breathing room.

Final Score?
Gamecocks 70 - Coastal Carolina 10

We left Williams-Brice stadium, five happy Gamecocks.
We happened to catch the team returning to the locker room on our way out.  Brody was so excited to see  Jadeveon Clowney walk by.
The girls got to meet real cheerleaders. :)

I was able to connect with my college friend, Allison Rivers.  Jeff and their kids visited us after the game.

And sweet Jenn Jackson, my college roomie and sorority sister, went out of her way to meet me TWICE!  Before the game and after to get a picture.

We finished the day with dinner at Moe's.

It's beginning...

... to feel a lot like Christmas. The weather people say we'll have a 25 degree night. On 11-12-13.

I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

She's Eleven!

Happy 11th birthday to one of the kindest,  most compassionate persons I've ever known. We love you, Abby!

We started with birthday breakfast complete  with Cookies and Creme Pop-Tarts and cinnamon rolls (thank you, Fullers).

We meet Stephen at Groucho's for her birthday lunch.

Mimi and Pop joined us for a cheeseburger ring birthday dinner at home.

Romans!

We have been learning about the Ancient Romans for Bible/History so far this year. We ended it feasting like Romans with the Fullers.
